A dream of every Indian Physiotherapist to have a council for Physiotherapy

Its more than over 60 years of the establishment of this proffesion in India. We have been upgraded ourself from a certificate level course to the doctorate in Physiotherapy but still so far we do not have any council.Still there are no vacancies and the salaries are underpaid with so much of dedicated and hard work what every physiotherapist does.
No matter what is your qualification in Physiotherapy but government provides the same salary. Just to name a few government colleges of Physiotehrapy that could be counted on fingers? Still some states dont have a Physiotherapy college. Physiotherapy is considered an accessory part of the medical team. Whereas it is an integral part of the medical treatment and the only way towards sucessfull treatment of some condtions. Now, the government needs to open its eye and proper legislative norms needs to me made. We are not the professionals with just a knowledge of some machines but we are far beyond.
It is really funny to know that so far WHO the highest health organisation has not been able to define Physiotherapy.
In New Zeland-
The practice of physiotherapy in New Zealand uses an evidence based, clinical reasoning process.•
New Zealand physiotherapists are primary contact practitioners•
New Zealand physiotherapists are autonomous practitioners.
By CSP UK:-
A more formal definition of physiotherapy comes from the 2002 CSP Curriculum Framework:
It uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being, taking account of variations in health status.
Physiotherapy is science-based, committed to extending, applying, evaluating and reviewing the evidence that underpins and informs its practice and delivery.
The exercise of clinical judgement and informed interpretation is at its core."

There is a need for the fellow proffesionals to work together towards a common goal.
